A small feature for "France" as I was there in July for two weeks :)
I was staying in Montpellier.. I highly recommend visiting this area :) Montpellier, Nimes, Carcassone, Avignon, Marseille.. I didn't see them all, but you should ;) I will make sure to see them soon. 0:)

Helloooo Everyone :)

Do you feel a bit creative? Why not use the DA Muro thingie in the comments section and leave me a drawing to the following topic?

"Table Tennis"

Doesn't have to be masterpiece. It could be something funny. It can be anything that comes to your mind when someone says Table Tennis (or sometimes called Ping Pong), but must be as a drawing your comment to this journal.

Why, you may ask.

Well.. I am supposted to draw/create a poster for a table tennis tournament and am out of ideas... yeah, sucks. So, I am turning to you asking you for help :blush:

What is in it for you?

Weeeell..except for the fun... you'll get a feature of three works I like best in your gallery (everyone who would contribute something will get a feature)

It was a lovely suprise, Saturday morning I came to check my messages on DA and noticed that around 10 people added Fog 01 to their favorites. I was like.. huh? ..I thought that someone featured it in a journal, but photos never had such attention. So I opened the picture and scrolled through it till I came on the DD box and went O.o for a quite a while.

Hello all :heart:

This is a journal about featuring.. not about me.. but just to know, I am always around and got bit distracted by life and my recent travels. :) I am very happy about it thou.. I recently visited Paris and in next week I go there again and then to Reus (and Catalonia) and then Barcelona. :) Maybe in November I'd be lucky to visit Chicago. :heart:

Small - Karpaty Wine Road

Last Saturday I did a crazy trip, that I wanted to do while back, but finally this year came a chance by :) I went on a SmallKarpaty wine road that is held each year for past 4 years I think. Two years ago, my colleague took me with him and it was the first time I was introduced to wines of our country (didn't drink any other alcohol than occasional tequilla till then) .. so it was a goood experience for me.

Year 2010 and I decided to go. It was a fast plan.. I bought tickets and called like to 4 friends of mine if someone would like to join me... but no one could (they had to study for exams, had other plans etc.) So.. I was alone. I made a plan where I DO wanna go, and where I might go.. I wanted to go to Dolany, Cerveny Kamen (Red Rock) and Svaty Jur. I bought a map with local area, so I knew where I was heading. I wrote down bus times (departures - arivals) and got my bag ready and off I was on Saturday morning around 8.30am :)

Few questions regarding - SCOTLAND

Ola to anyone from Scotland or who had been to Scotland :D
    
    My friends are planning their vacation there (cca 2 weeks) and have few questions which they have problems to find on the net. If anyone of you would be able to answer them, we would be very very very grateful to you :)
    
    1) They are planning to stay for few nights in following towns : Edinburgh
    Inverness
    Kirkwall
    Ullapool Do you know of some hostel/appartement/hotel any of that sort that is in an ok quality and a good price? Do you have some sort of contact / link on them?
    
    2) They are planning to borrow a car.. is it possible to let say borrow a car in Edinburg and return the car in some other town e.g. Ullapool or Glasgow?
    Or does they have to return the car in the same town from where they borrowed it?
    
    3) Do you have some link on public transport in Edinburgh? They need info whether it's possible to buy turist tickets (let say 2,3 full days tickets)
    Is it possible to buy tickets on bus? Or do they need to buy it on the bus stops?
    How much do they cost?
    
    4) Do you have any good websites with searching a bus transport among towns? With possible prices informations?
    
    5) Any suggestions of MUST-SEEs in Scotland?? :)
    Museums, countryside, lake etc. Some that are not that famous but still a must-see?

Description:
:bulletpurple: The contest will be split into four topics. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Each represented by one word.

Growing up in today's world isn't easy. In western countries kids are feeling like part of a huge river, worried what may happen if they will get caught. Will someone help them? In eastern countries they deal with problems, children should not. And that influence their future.

But we all are born with some gens, be it from our parents or maybe our ancestors. Some of us can go through problems like a sunray through clouds; for others the problems are like a rocks on their tomb.

Myself, looking back... the childhood could be worse. But it was also bit sad. My most biggest problem I took from childhood was being sexually abused as a child..one short moment, changed me.. and I told my mum only when I was 18.. bit too late to do anything.. leaving all of us bit helpless. I guess, that is at the moment my biggest fight I am fighting. To forgive? And forget?

Anyway, lately I drawn and image (I am proud of, althrough it of course needs some updates and all) and it started something in me ..why not to make a feature about what today kids in the world deal with. Here are some images and literature, some are sad, some lovely, some part of awareness.. give it a thought what are our children going through.. and maybe they are not telling us?
To all parents out there.. I know, kids are sometimes difficult to deal with.. but honestly.. so are we, adults ;)

10:33:36 AM <DanHeffer-Stock> Endorell-Taelos: the lighting is decent in that manip! it goes well! what yo need to do is add some shadow beneath herm either with an overlay layer or the burn tool i guess, i prefer to use overlay and a darkcolour to shadoww, you also need to really clean up the edges of her! and maybe think about adding another element to it to make increase the interest, such as chains, or like a scratched texture to the wall or something? also abut the depth of focus maybe bur the bg a little? and then sharen the picture abit? other than that ts looking good!
